  It takes discussion out of the picture and makes it about just getting people to the website where there is more control.
  I remember the last tract minsitry I was involved in, it was the idea of just get the tract in their hands.
  
  I agree that they're trying to get away from the Watchtower heading. It turns people off right away.
  
  Definitely hired pr reps. Someone's getting it through to them that the Watchtower has gotten a bad rep, so they need to rebrand.

  10 Who, then, is the faithful and discreet slave?   Is the fact that the GB was set up in 1976 , just after Armageddon did not arrive in Autumn 1975 a coincidence ?

  when rutherford assumed the presidency of the watchtower society he instituted series of sweeping changes to the teachings and practices of the bible students.

  some of these changes were at complete odds with what had been taught previously.

  a key example was the elevation of the watchtower society as "god's visible organization on earth".

  This is what cracks me up, the GB could literally start teaching the Trinity in some weird fashion and the people would eat it up.
